Referees Fees for Fall 2007 

Dribblers (5 yr old) 4 v 4 (no goalie) - each game on schedule is actually two games - 1 ref per each game - each coach gives each ref $6 (each ref therefore gets $12)

Trappers (6 yr old) 4 v 4 (no goalie) - each game on schedule is actually two games - 1 ref per each game - each coach gives each ref $6 (each ref therefore gets $12) 

Shooters (7 yr old) 6 v 6 - 1 ref - $14, one ref, each coach pays one ref $7

Passers (8 yr old) 8 v 8 - 2 refs - $16, each coach pays one of the refs $16

Passers (in Spring 2008 - 6 v 6 - 1 ref - $14 - one ref, each coach pays one ref $7)

Wings  - (9 & 10 yr old) 8 v 8 - 2 refs - $18, each coach pays one of the refs $18

One ref shows up, both coaches pay $18 and notify referee assigner that only ref showed up.

Strikers - (11 & 12 yr old) 11 v 11 - 2 refs - $20, each coach pays one of the refs $20

One ref shows up, both coaches pay $20 and notify referee assigner that only ref showed up.

Kickers - (13 & 14 yr old) 11 v 11 - 2 refs - $22, each coach pays one of the refs $22

One ref shows up, both coaches pay $22 and notify referee assigner that only ref showed up.

Minors - (15 - 19 yr old) 11 v 11 - 2 refs - $28, each coach pays one of the refs $28

One ref shows up, both coaches pay $28 and notify referee assigner that only ref showed up.

 


Referee Clinics for 2008

The referee clinics will be held in the recreational room (main hall) of American Legion Post 484 Located at 1837 Sutton Ave. in Mt. Washington

Our experience has shown, the boys and girls need to be the age of 12 yrs or older  to start refereeing the younger age groups.  These clinics are setup for anyone wanting to become a referee.

Referee training has taken a new format starting this year, see attached.

4x4 referee training will be only offered, prior to the spring season.

Instead of going five seasons, you be required to complete the online training first, once you have successfully passed the online testing, you can attend one of the following sessions.

1st Session

  1. Mon,  July 21            6 pm to 9 pm   Discussion of the Rules
  2. Wed,  July 23            6 pm to 9 pm  Rules Application/Test 

2nd Session

  1. Mon, August 11        6 pm to 9 pm    Discussion of the Rules
  2. Wed, August 13       6 pm to 9 pm    Application of Rules/Test

All potential referees MUST TAKE and PASS the ONLINE TRAINING and ATTEND one of the above SESSION.

A referee test will be given to all referees that have not yet earned their certified referee badge.  Badges will be given out to those that pass the test.  After they have receive their patches, their names will be given to the referee assigners for games.  

All referees are paid for all games at the game site by the two game coaches.

We are in need of experienced Referees for the Kickers and Minors games.

  1. MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE

  2. CALL THE ASSIGNOR AND ASK FOR GAMES

  3. E-MAIL THE ASSIGNOR WITH YOUR AVAILABILITY

  4. TAKE GAMES WHEN ASKED

  5. ARRIVE EARLY FOR YOUR GAMES

  6. BE PREPARED WITH YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  7. WORK HARD AT THE GAMES

  8. BE HEARD WITH YOUR WHISTLE

  9. REPORT SCORES TO THE ASSIGNOR SAME DAY
