Q: Do I need to register each season?
A: No. If you
played the previous season, you do not need to re-register.
Q: How are children played on a team?
A: Children are placed on a team according the location in which
they live.
Q: What equipment does my child need?
A: SCSA provides a
T-shirt for Dribblers and Trappers and the player needs to
purchase shin guards, socks,
size 3 soccer ball and bring a water bottle.
Q: Is there a cutoff birth date for 2002 kids?
A: Anyone born in 2002 can play this year. The year in which a child turns 5 is the year they are
eligible to play
Q: What day of the week are the games played?
A: In the spring there are 5 games on Sundays.
In
the fall, Dribblers and Trappers play 8 games and the other age groups
play 10. There are usually
two weekends where
games are on Saturday and Sunday, and then the remainder of the games is
on Saturdays.
Q: When is practice?
A: Practices usually last 1 hour and each coach picks the day of
the week and time.
SCSA uses various Elementary School fields in Anderson Township and
West Clermont county and Anderson Park District Fields.

Q: What’s the cost?
A:
There are several factors to determine the cost.
Each team pays SCSA a team fee.
Anderson Park District charges a fee for field usage so depending
where you practice factors in. The
cost is then divided evenly among the number of kids on the team.
$30-$35 is an estimate for the younger age groups.
Once you have to buy your own uniform then the price can go up.
The cost also depends on whether or not you have a sponsor picking
up the cost.
