Question: Is registration required each season?
Answer: Yes. Beginning Fall of 2010 all players must register each fall and spring season. Registraiton will require a registration fee, which can be paid online. Or if registering through US mail, paid with a personal or cashier's check.
Question: How are children placed on a team?
Answer: Children are placed on a team according the location in which they live.
Question: What equipment will my child need?
Answer: The player will need to purchase their own shin guards, socks, an appropriate sized soccer ball and bring a water bottle. SCSA will provide a T-shirt for children in the Dribblers and Trappers divisions.
Question: Is there a cutoff birth date?
Answer: If your son was born in the year of 2005 he is eligible to play this year.
Question: What day of the week are the games played?
Answer: The spring season consisting of 5 games, are played on Sundays.
The fall season, Dribblers and Trappers play 8 games and the other age groups play 10 games. Most of the games are played on Saturdays. Two of the weekends games are on Saturday and Sunday.
Question: When is practice?
Answer: Practices usually last 1 hour and each coach picks the day of the week and time. SCSA uses various Elementary School fields in Anderson Township and West Clermont county and Anderson Park District Fields.
